Sometimes referred to as “9/12 king crab legs,” these colossal king crab legs are enormous. Each leg weighs roughly 1 pound, or 9 to 12 legs per ten pounds.
To maintain the highest quality, our red king crab legs are frozen soon after being harvested. We have been obtaining our red king crab legs via a network of our dependable brokers for more than 20 years, as well as from the arctic waters of the Bering Sea. The catch is closely regulated in this highly sustainable fishery, which explains why the prices are so high. We’re sorry, people, but prices have been rising as the catch quota has decreased. At least these will be available for years to come.

Benefits of Alaskan King Crab Meat for Your Health

A meat source high in protein and loaded with vitamins and minerals is crabmeat. Crab, like the other seafood and shellfish we sell, might be included in the increasing list of “superfoods” that nutritionists suggest. Each 3 oz. dish of crabmeat has a whopping 16 grammes of protein. The antioxidants zinc and selenium, as well as the vitamins B12 and C, are all present in crab meat. Selenium aids in preventing cellular deterioration, while zinc supports bone density and immune system function. There is still more. Omega-3 fatty acids, which help reduce inflammation and can cut the risk of heart disease, are also abundant in crabmeat.

How to Cook Crab Legs from Alaska

The crab legs should totally defrost. A large saucepan should have enough water in it to cover the bottom of the steamer basket. Place the crab legs in the boiling water, season them, and then cover. The crabs should be steamed for five minutes, or until the meat is heated all over. You can reheat the crabs in the oven for about 10 minutes at 375°F if you don’t have a steamer basket on hand. Newspaper or brown paper should be used to cover the table (it will get messy!). Grab some additional seasoning for dipping while the butter is melting. Pick up some mallets so you can break the claws.

Customer Reviews

Around February 4, 2019, I ordered a purse, but I never received an order number, a confirmation number, or anything else to prove that I had done so. I thought I would receive an order number after submitting the order. Nothing at all about the item, whether my purchase was received, when I would receive my order, or anything else related to my order was communicated to my email. I ordered this product two weeks ago, but I still haven’t received it. There is no means to communicate to address my issue with this company because it is impossible to speak with anyone.

I placed an order with Shoespie in the middle of October, and by the end of November, I had my shoes. The shoes did not look like the ones in the picture at all; they were extremely wide, appeared to be one or two sizes too big, and were made of cheap material. I emailed Shoespie as instructed with my complaint and return address, and I received a reply saying that I would be advised of the return address for the product within 24 hours because you couldn’t return them to the shipping address. I never heard back from Shoespie with the shipping details. The shoes cost $17.00 during the sale. I overestimated how long I would need the shoes, ran out of money, and am now stuck with uncomfortable, subpar sneakers.
